Stuart Lindley

General Manager - Industry Capability Development, 

NAVAL GROUP AUSTRALIA

Stuart Lindley is General Manager - Industry Capability Development at Naval Group Australia. In this role he responsible for the transfer of technology from France to Australia whilst maximising the involvement of Australian Industry in the Future Submarine Program.


Prior to joining Naval Group Australia, Stuart worked for BAE Systems for 23 years and in that time held a number of roles ranging from strategy, operations, project management and capability master planning, working with both national and international defence customers.


He started his career in the United Kingdom before moving to Australia on secondment in 2011 with his young family to deliver the transfer of manufacturing technologies from the UK for the Joint Strike Fighter vertical tail.


In his role as General Manager Integrated Systems, BAE Systems Australia he was responible for a broad portfolio of projects and programs ranging from Over The Horizon Radar, Periscope Systems, M113 vehicles, ISR and Electronic Systems leading a business of 600 people at peak.
Stuart is a proud Australia citizen and has a degree in manufacturing systems engineering, as well as masters degree in leadership and project management.


Stuart and his partner Rio and have two children, Logan and Ava. He enjoys playing golf, exercise and spending time with his family and friends.
