Renaud BENTEGEAT has an original background in Public Law and Political Sciences. He received a graduate degree from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Bordeaux in 1976, then graduated in 1977 with a Master in Advanced Political Analysis at the University of Montesquieu in Bordeaux.
He spent his entire career in the construction industry: CBC (during 31 years!), Vinci Construction and CFE SA, a 47% subsidiary of Vinci Construction.
Renaud BENTEGEAT was appointed Managing Director of CFE SA in September 2003.
Under his management of the company, the market capitalization went from 120 Million euros in 2003 to 2,582 Million euros in 2020.
After 15 years as CEO, in 2018, he gave way to Piet DEJONGHE, but remained Executive Director of CFE SA.
He was also President of the French Chamber of Commerce in Belgium (CCI France Belgique) for 12 years.
In 2019, he became CCI France International’s President.

He has been rewarded with three outstanding titles :
