Pierre-Emmanuel joined L’Occitane Australia as Managing Director a year and a half ago, which brings his tenure with the Group internationally to more than five years in total.
His career has seen him work in Eastern Europe and Latin America with Luxury and Lifestyle global consumer companies, such as LVMH and, as an entrepreneur in retail Ecommerce. This omni-channel expertise has proven invaluable in today’s retail landscape.

We are dedicated to defending and preserving the unique biodiversity of our natural landscape, with the recently established Ecosystem Restoration Fund. Locally, the Fund has partnered with the Foundation of National Parks and Wildlife to help plant one million trees and has pledged a total contribution of $320,000 for long-term projects to restore the Australian landscape following January’s devastating bushfires. We are also committed to recycling to support the importance of a circular economy, with the launch back in 2009 of our first 100% recycled bottle and a commitment for all product bottles to be 100% sustainable plastic by 2025. On a more local level, L’Occitane was the first beauty brand to partner with TerraCycle in Australia in 2016 to collect empty product bottles for Recycling, which has since seen 10 tonnes of waste collected that would have otherwise ended up in Australian landfill.
Additionally through our work in Burkina Faso the past 40 years, we’ve enabled the 10,000 women who make our shea butter to gain more independence while improving their economic and social status. We’re also passionate in fighting against avoidable blindness through our fundraising products and partnerships with UNICEF and our local partnership with Sight For All to fund their project to restore the sight of 30,000 adults and children in Lao.
