Johan's experience is drawn largely from change management, information technology and Human Capital Management. Johan has been appointed in 2019 as the director of the Change Management & HR Practice at Maltem Australia. He also acts as a Business developer for DS Partners. He loves helping organisations, leaders, teams and individuals shift their mindsets so that they are fully committed and equipped to live out their full potential.
Johan Lequien was previously working as a Director at EY leading Oceania Practice in Consulting Services (Workforce Advisory practice), focusing on Change Management, Business Transformation Organisation and People strategy development and HRIS implementation. He provides advisory and consulting expertise to clients who are looking to affect their business performance through large-scale global organizational change, leadership coaching, mergers and acquisitions, talent development, and leadership. He benefits from a multi-faceted education and work background that enables me to successfully navigate diverse situations, mostly supporting from within the context of Change Management, Training, Human Capital Management and Organisational Development.
His previous experience spans the Finance/banking, Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, Consumer goods, Chemical, Telecommunication and Governmental (education, defense) sectors. Diverse industry experience where stakeholder groups vary dramatically, are influenced vastly by national / organizational / societal culture as well as legislation, and are not limited to employees, but rather extend to all stakeholders in the value chain (including shareholders, communities, unions, suppliers, customers, government, etc.).
Prior to joining EY he was an associate partner working for WIPRO CONSULTING, a Senior Manager at ACCENTURE specialising in large-scale global organizational transformations and change involving people, process and technology in HR environment
