As Director Major Programs of Turner & Townsend across Australia and New Zealand is responsible for providing delivery solutions to a broad range of clients and projects in diverse market sectors.
Alan has provided leadership of many mega projects and programs both in Australia and internationally. He specialises and has significant experience in the field of Alliance and Collaborative Contract delivery Frameworks, the establishment and leadership of large scale integrated delivery teams under PMO frameworks, also providing related Executive / Board level Governance Leadership and Program Management and Value Creation for Government clients.
Alan has spent the last 10 years overseeing the Australia and New Zealand market delivery and commenced his journey in Australia supporting expansive programs of work in the response to the 2010 / 2011 devastating Natural Disasters that had widespread impact across Queensland. Alan has also supported major infrastructure investment decisions such as the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing and major elements of the Inland Rail project. In supporting the approach for the delivery of these major programs and projects, Alan has provided approaches that carefully consider the supply chain position and response.
As a civil engineer with over 25 years’ experience Alan has held senior roles as a Client, Consultant and Constructor and therefore has a strong appreciation of the drivers and risks for the key participant parties in the supply and delivery of major programs and how to align engagement and delivery approaches.
